Financial Incentives for Green Building

This course encompasses topics related to the economics of green building, renewable energy and energy efficiency.  Content will include discussion of common tax incentives at the local, state and federal level.  You will learn the pros and cons of cap and trade, direct taxation, government regulation, and other incentive structures.   

This course is offered in partnership with NIU Outreach and Everblue Training Institute.  Everblue Training is an official education provider for the U.S. Green Building Council and approved by the American Institute of Architecture (AIA).
