Which LEED Credential Should You Pursue?

• If you are just starting out with LEED, then the first mandatory step is the LEED Green Associate.
• If you are already a LEED Green Associate, the next step is to become a LEED AP+ Specialist.  LEED AP+ specialty areas include LEED AP+ Existing Buildings Operations and Maintenance, LEED AP+ Building Design, Construction and Operations, and LEED AP+ Homes.
• NIU also offers a LEED Certificate Program consisting of 3 parts and 105 hours of classroom instruction.  This Certificate Program offers the Green Associate and the LEED AP+ Specialty courses listed above.
